ADHD PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS
We offer comprehensive ADHD assessments for adolescents and adults, providing thoughtful, evidence-based insights to support clarity, diagnosis
and next steps in care.

We provide comprehensive ADHD assessments for adolescents and adults. These assessments are designed to offer clarity, care, and a deeper understanding of how attention, learning, and executive functioning may be shaping daily life.

Seeking an ADHD assessment can feel like an important and sometimes uncertain step. Our approach is careful, thoughtful, and grounded in both clinical experience and evidence-based practice. We take time to understand not just symptoms, but the broader context of your life, history, and day-to-day functioning.

ADHD assessments here are conducted with attention to detail and respect for the complexity of each person’s experience. The aim is to develop a clear, well-supported understanding that can guide meaningful next steps, including working with your GP or psychiatrist if medication is being considered.
Who is this for?
This assessment may be helpful for adolescents and adults who:
-
Are wondering whether ADHD may be part of their story
-
Are seeking clarity around attention, organisation, memory, emotional regulation, or a sense of overwhelm
-
Have long found aspects of school, work, or daily life more effortful, and want to better understand why
-
Are looking to improve day-to-day functioning, confidence, and self-understanding
-
Would like a thoughtful, professional assessment to help guide future treatment, support, or planning
What to expect
Before commencing a comprehensive ADHD assessment, we begin with an initial appointment. This provides an opportunity to understand your concerns, explore whether an assessment is appropriate, and ensure this process is likely to be helpful for you.

If you choose to proceed, the assessment typically includes a detailed clinical interview, gold standard questionnaires, and (with your consent) collating collateral with a parent, partner, or someone who knows you well. A structured cognitive assessment is also completed in person.

All information is then carefully reviewed and integrated into a comprehensive written report. This includes diagnostic considerations and tailored recommendations to support ongoing care.

We then meet with you for a feedback session, where we talk through the findings in a clear and thoughtful way, and consider next steps together.

The outcome is a detailed, practical assessment that can support individuals, families, and treating professionals. Reports can be shared with your GP or psychiatrist to assist with treatment planning, including medication where appropriate, as well as informing educational supports, therapy, and day-to-day strategies.
