The Suites at Wickham House is also committed to fostering a supportive community for health providers.

We have established and host a diverse and growing range of groups and events that aim to empower professionals in their personal and career growth. These groups and events provide an environment for health professionals to connect, while at the same time supporting and facilitating their personal and professional development.

The Psychoanalytically Oriented Psychology Interest Group is an APS Interest Group fostering engagement and learning for health providers with a shared interest in psychoanalytic approaches.

Wickham House hosts POPIG events tailored for its members and welcoming participation from the broader psychoanalytic community, to provide a platform for those seeking to deepen their understanding of psychotherapy and related topics.

RELATE is our training program that has been specifically designed for Psychology Registrars who wish to develop a solid foundation in and ability to formulate and practice effectively from a relational psychodynamic perspective, whilst also meeting their AHPRA requirements for practice endorsement.

RELATE enables Psychology Registrars to obtain all of their continuing professional development points along with their individual and group supervision requirements from the one Program.

CURIOUS is a comprehensive 1-year program suitable for established clinicians (including but not limited to: Psychotherapists, Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Psychiatry Registrars, Counsellors, Social workers, Clinical nurse specialists, GPs) who are wishing to develop skills to further their practice in psychodynamic psychotherapy, whilst joining a community of like-minded peers & experienced practitioners to foster their personal and professional growth.

Our seminar provides a small group & personalised learning opportunity for Registrars to engage in insightful discussion, share experiences and gain valuable insights integrated from a range of  clinicians including Registrar Program Co-ordinator Prof. Robert Schweitzer, Clinical Psychologist and Director Dr. Deanne Hawkins, and fellow Registrar Alana Vining. Discover ways in which you can maximise your professional growth and learning during your Registrar Program, navigate challenges, and build a pathway to success. 

Connect with fellow Registrars and leave feeling empowered with the necessary knowledge and tools to excel in your Registrar Program. Refreshments will be provided for attendees.
